The Message Glorious tells of God's faithfulness to Mom throughout her lifetime; through her early years when she ignored God's presence, through the death of two of her children, and through the birth and life of my brother Scott, who has Down Syndrome. In his 45 years, Scott has astounded us with his wit and wisdom, entertained us with his one-liners, and blessed us with his special, unconditional brand of love. "What's the matter, Mom, aren't His promises good enough for you?" was a question my brother David asked Mom as she was attempting to reassure him of God's love and faithfulness. David died of cancer when he was 12 years old. With The Message Glorious, Mom is able to answer David's question with a resounding, "Yes!"
